I visit it with my friend when we took a drive to Kedah to meet music producer. As she took me  to  the Rice Museum, you will find the rice(paddy)in the drawing, if I not wrong I think the drawing was done by Korea people, on the banisters, and even on the fence and gate outside. It really amazing which I never see this kind of act, it caught me with surprise when I was in my first step going into it.

I found out many of people going to the Rice Museum as I saw two travel bus in front. When I was exploring the sights in Kedah. I found it almost by chance when I saw the Rice Museum signboard by the roadside, and decided to turn in for a look, and was surprised to find this huge museum in the middle of nowhere. "Nowhere" here refers to almost 100,000 hectares of paddy fields. This is after all the Rice Bowl State of Malaysia.

Rice Museum consists of two main levels and a top portion accessible by a spiral staircase. As we tour it, we are given a thorough explanation of everything involved with rice. You might see the green natural around the wall. Some are simply trivia, like songs dedicated to rice - this kind of reminded me of the  drawing in China. I really cant describe it by words..

There are several galleries with panoramic murals. These are the result of painstaking work by 60 artists from North Korea. My favorites gallery is 59 steps above, accessible via a spiral staircase. When enter this gallery from the middle, and immediately the scene of the surrounding Gunung Keriang region be revealed  around us. As we stand there admiring the mural, we are taken in by the sheer size of the murals.

Truely wecannot ensure that where the ground is, and where the mural begins. Another thing, as we view the mural, we felt that the scenery was moving. Soon we realised that we are standing on a revolving platform, and by simply being still, we will have the scenery rotate around us. It was truly a good reminiscence experience. The paddy drawing was hallucinated me like stand on the middle of the paddy field.

The Rice Museum is open daily from 10am to 6pm. On Fridays it observes a 12.30-2.30pm recess. Entering being allow is RM3 for adults and RM1 for children. This museum can be one of the stops in an Asia Explorers trip through Kedah.

Eventually, when we go back, we saw a group of student playing truant...really disappointed with them O (=_=) O!
